Big Changes You Might Not Know!!!!

These are a couple big changes  I MUST tell you!

* I no longer live in Houston. We have moved back to Fort Worth.
* I no longer have glasses.
* I dont play league softball anymore. I play for a team called the Shock. They are a great organization out of Mansfield.
* I will try to be more active on my posts, now that I am not too busy after school!

My Wonderful Spring Break

       I couldnt believe it took us so long to get to Houston!It took, oh, four and a half hours or so? But the long trip was definetely worth it! We went to the Doubletree Hotel, ( they gave us very good steaming hot cookies)went to Fuzzys Pizza Place with some of my softball friends, and had a delicious breakfast the next day at Mcinleys Bar And Grill.( In the hotel). I was so sad to leave, but we had to get back to all my friends in Fort Worth!! When we got back after the long drive, we tried to see the Lorax, but it was sold out. Big giant grrrrrrrrrrr to that. Cant wait to see the Lorax, but otherwise I had an awesome spring break!

Jammed out

This afternoon I jammed the ring finger of my right hand. At least it doesn't hurt.  But mom made me put an ice pack on it and now my fingers are FREEZING!!!

Mom is making me keep the ice pack on because I have 2 softball games in the morning and on Sunday afternoon I have All-Star try-outs.  My coach picked me and one other girl on my team to try out for the All-Star team.  I'm so honored to be choosen to be in All-Star try outs.  I'll let you know how it turns out!

2 day Easter!!!

I  am so sorry for not writing on Easter,you know, I was busy! Easter weekend was the best 2 days I've had this month.On Saturday, we went to an Easter egg hunt at my church. It was kind of like a carnival, but operated by teenagers like Luke, Richie, Mr. Dotson, and Doug.( M.D and Dare adults.) The (sort of) carnival was operated by Mrs. Aubry and I think she did a great job.Easter was fun, and I got the movie The Princess and The Frog, a book called The Tail Of Emily Windsnap, and The Mysterious Benedict Society And The Prisoners Delimma book. I also got lots of candy, Happy Easter!!!(and sorry I'm late!)

Mall Trip

Even though girls are supposed to like shopping trips, I don't. I think shopping is REALLY a thing to get little girls( Susannah) angry over really fancy things that their mothers say they they can't have. That happened today at the  mall. Susannah took my sunglasses and when I asked for them back, they said they were hers! Then when I asked Mom for them back, she put them in her purse because we were arguing. Then we left. By the end of the shopping trip, I was exousted.  

Tulsa and Fort Worth

We arrived in Tulsa yesterday night, and I just woke up. Mom's trying to find us something to do today, and we are watching TV. I just found out we're going to the zoo today! I've never been to this zoo before! I wonder what animals they have ... maybe they have an aquarium there! No, I don't think so, at a zoo they have animals and at an aquarium they have fish. Anyway, that is not for a few more hours. I'M BORED!I mean, I'm confused.Whenever Dad goes to Tulsa, he comes back and says it was fun, but so far I've only sat and watched TV. I hope it gets better...

Before we went to Tulsa, we went to Fort Worth to visit my friend Brighton. When we slept, we made a fort out of bedsheets and blankets. It was really comfortable, to tell you the truth. But when I woke up, Brighton was always asleep, so I went back to sleep until she woke up. When we woke up, we got on pretty dresses and lots of makeup.  We went to a cool park and had lots of fun with some of my old friends like Jackson, Maddie, Camryn and of course, Brighton.  We had to leave but I didn't really want to.  Brighton has lots of good ideas and most of them we excute into action.  I can't wait to go back and be with my friend Brighton, again!!!

But for now...we are off to the Zoo!!

Family Fights

Yes! School is out for the week, and I'm sitting and relaxing. I was thinking about playing in the playroom with my brother and sister, but I decided it was too chaotic WITHOUT me in there. ( Trust me, this is very serious, me+ Susannah + Parker= trouble.) I don't know why, but  sometimes Susannah and Parker don't like each other.So when I try to sort out their fights, it only gets worse. Today's fight was about a hairband. Parker broke Susannah's  black hairband, and Susannah gets mad and tells Mom. ( I think in the end, it will drive me crazy!!!)
When they fight, it can be really annoying.

Art Class

Today in art class, we did watercolor flowers. We started with the background, and I had the choice of the colors blue, yellow, or pink. I chose the color pink because pink is not dark or light. It is a mix of dark and light!
It does not clash with many colors, like blue or yellow. After we finished painting the background, art class was
over. I had lots of fun!!! By the way, if you know anything about Tennessee, please tell me because I am doing
The Big Six project on Tennessee.  The Big Six project is where we will learn and answer 6 questions about research on the state that we chose.  I picked Tennessee!

1st Softball Game

  
My first softball game HAD to be my finest hour out of all 6 seasons of my softball career. I hit every ball pitched to me. I practically hit my coach, who was pitching, but he jumped sky high just in time! I also made7 outs! ( I am not not exagerating, my mother counted) I play first base most of the time, but we have to switch out
every other inning. When we switch out, I play short stop.( I slid to second and got an out there) I had the time of my life at that softball game!  We lost our first game 9 to 11, but our team played great!!!  In our second game, we came back and tied the other team 10 to 10 in the last inning.  Our team had lots of fun together today.  My good friends on the team are Kylie, Brooke and Bailey.  We all played together in the fall and now we are back together with Coach Randy this spring.  I LOVE SOFTBALL!!!

Mock Rock

This week in school we learned about mock rocks. They are not real rocks, so we call them mock rocks. Mock Rocks are clay with tiny dyed rocks inside them. We crushed them into powder, and then we put the dry clay in
a vile. We then poured water in the vile and waited until morning. In the morning, the water was green! We poured the water into a peetree dish. The next morning, there were crystals were the water used to be!!!  We did this because we are studying rocks and minerals.  It was very fun and I got to bring my crystals home.

Thanks for all the awesome comments! I was so excited about the comments when my mom told me that I had 5 comments on one post.  I was very happy!  After I finish the Hobbit, I think I will read the Invention of H.C.  Right now I am watching my sister run around the room with my mom right behind her, trying to brush her hair. We went to the library just yesterday, and I got 11 books, but I couldn't carry the book bag. I am writing this all
before school,so I am in kind of a rush. Don't want to be late for school!!!  Hope you have a great day!

The Hobbit

My game went great! I hit a lot of balls. Awww! It just started raining, so let me just go and put my jump rope
away before it gets soaked! Anyway, my team did really good. I think we won, but I don't know for sure
because Coach never told us.
Right now I Am  reading The Hobbit. I am only on page 69, but so far it is a great book. It is about Bilbo Baggins (He is a Hobbit, a little person half as tall as you.) and his adventures with a couple of dwarves and a wizard. If you have read it, don't tell me the ending!!!

My first post!

This is my first blog and I'm very exited to be here and I hope you will like the things I write. Here's a little bit about me.

I love to read, and if you have any suggestions other than Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, The Frog Princess, or the Roald Dahl Books, leave me a comment. I am a red headed, brown eyed girl that has a brother named Parker, and a silly sister named Susannah. They are a pain some times, but they are always very funny and I love them. I play softball and have the best swing on the team. Tommorow, our team will play The Express. The Express is a hard team, but luckily, it is just a scrimage. Even if it was a real game, we'd still beat them.
